Swedish massage
is a vigorous system of treatment designed to energize the body by stimulating circulation. Five basic strokes, all flowing toward the heart, are used to manipulate the soft tissues of the body.

Deep Tissue Massage is a technique that focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue. It aims to release the chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow strokes and deep finger pressure on the contracted areas, either following or going across the fibers of the muscles, tendons and fascia. Also helps to break up and eliminate scar tissue.

Acupressure is an ancient Chinese technique based on the principles of acupuncture, and involves the use of finger pressure (without the needles) on specific points along the body. Chinese cultures believe the points to be junctures of meridian pathways that carry energy called chi (the Japanese call it Ki). Acupressure massage therapy stimulates and activates the body's own energies to help fight illness and restore harmony. Some of the Acupressure points are significant as they relate to a specific part of the body while others are more general in their effect.

Shiatsu uses pressures made with the fingers, the palms, the elbows, the feet, on the points of acupuncture, the shiatsu resolves and regularizes the energy of the body with an aim of preventing and of eliminating certain pains or tensions. This method wakes up the energy and body conscience in more of stimulating mental and physical vitality.

Cranial Sacral Therapy is a holistic healing practice that uses very light touching to balance the cranial sacral system in the body, which includes the bones, nerves, fluids, and connective tissues of the cranium and spinal area.

Sports Massage is used to help alleviate the stress and tension which builds up in the body's soft tissues during physical activity. Where minor injuries and lesions occur, due to overexertion and/or overuse, massage can break them down quickly and effectively.

Reflexology is a gentle and effective form of therapeutic treatment applied to the feet and sometimes to the hands. Reflexology is considered to be a holistic healing technique that aims to treat the individual as a whole, in order to induce a state of balance and harmony in body, mind and spirit. Reflexology is based on the belief that there are reflex areas on the feet (and hands) corresponding to all the parts of the body including major organs.

Hydrotherapy is the therapeutic use of water in any of its various forms: sea water, mineral water, baths, showers, underwater massage, ice, etc.

Russian Massage is a system of therapeutic and sports massage developed in the former Soviet Union. It uses a variety of manipulations of the body's soft tissues to achieve benefits, including stress reduction and relief from muscle aches.

Structural Integration is a form of therapeutic bodywork that restores balance within the body by removing strain patterns in the myofascial system. Through the use of hands-on, massage-like techniques, Structural Integration re-educates the body and raises one's awareness about how to be in harmony within the field of gravity.

Trigger Point Therapy (also known as Myotherapy or Neuromuscular Therapy) is a method that applies concentrated finger pressure, and breath work, to trigger points to break cycles of spasm and pain.

Injury Massage focuses on specific muscles and structures involved in the dysfunction to eliminate pain. Applying specific, deeper techniques stimulate tissues at the specific site of dysfunction. The tissues begin to soften and heal and the structure returns to optimal form.

Prenatal Massage is specially designed for the most deserving of clients, this Swedish-style massage will help maintain the skin's elasticity while alleviating added stress on the back and legs. After the first trimester, lying face down during a massage increases the pressure on the uterus as well as the uterine ligaments. The safe alternative is to position the pregnant client on her side with her head, legs and stomach supported with pillows. The therapist can then work safely on her back and legs without creating any increased pressure. Please check with your doctor before scheduling.

Chair Massage is most office-related physical symptoms can be attributed to loss of circulation. Tight muscles caused by stress and sitting behind a desk all day, especially at a work station that is not ergonomically designed, can impede blood and lymph flow through the body. The result is mental fogginess, decreased energy and susceptibility to repetitive stress injuries, like carpal tunnel syndrome.
